The two tabs in the Import Product function, Chemicals and Labware, allow you to search for a wide range of products. Chemicals may include reagents, solvents, and other substances used in experiments, while Labware may include equipment such as pipettes, flasks, and centrifuges.
When searching for a product, you can use two parameters to find what you're looking for quickly and easily. These two parameters are product name and SKU number. Searching by product name may be useful if you know the name of the chemical or labware item you need. Alternatively, searching by SKU number may be more efficient if you have a list of products with those identifying numbers.
If you tick the box: "Search by SKU" you can find a product only by their SKU number. This can be especially useful if you already have a list of products in your lab with their corresponding SKU numbers. There is also an option to scan the SKU code - press the symbol located on the right side of the search field.
