Pregl Digital interface provides an array of advanced features to streamline stock inventory management and enhance efficiency. With the aim of catering to various laboratory needs, the platform offers an extensive range of stock management options. This robust functionality significantly contributes to optimizing laboratory operations and promoting a smooth workflow.
In order to maintain up-to-date and accurate information, the interface allows users to edit existing chemical and labware entries. This enables users to modify properties such as quantity, storage location, or expiration date, ensuring that the inventory records remain current and reflective of the laboratory's stock.
Chemicals and lab equipment can be whether added manually or automatically through data import wizard, which enables quick and error free export of lab items from the local database.
Stock management offers three generals options to operate with:
- Create Chemical/Create Labware (manual data entry)
- Edit Chemical/Edit Labware (manual data entry)
- Import Product (automatic data entry)
Create Stock Material
When you need to create a new chemical or labware entry, the interface offers a user-friendly form where you can input all the necessary information. You can enter details such as the chemical name, quantity, unit of measurement, storage location, safety instructions, supplier information, and any other relevant properties or specifications.
To expedite the process and avoid repetitive manual data entry, the import wizard becomes your ultimate ally. This powerful tool enables you to import a comprehensive list of chemicals or labware items from an external source directly into the Pregl Digital interface.

Edit Stock Material
The "Edit Chemical" functionality within the Pregl Digital interface provides users with the ability to modify the properties of existing inventory items in their storage.
To begin editing a chemical or labware entry, users can easily select the item they wish to modify from the list of chemicals and labware stored within the interface. You will find the desired item from the list searching by item's name and SKU number.
When it comes to editing, the Pregl Digital interface allows users to make a variety of changes to suit their specific needs. Users can update basic information, such as the chemical or labware name, quantity, unit of measurement, or storage location, ensuring that the inventory remains current and reflects any changes in the laboratory.
In addition to modifying ordinary chemical or labware data, the interface also provides options to add or update critical safety information. Users can seamlessly incorporate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) into the system, ensuring that essential safety information is readily available for each chemical or labware item. This feature enhances safety protocols within the laboratory, enabling easy access to important details such as handling instructions, physical properties, and emergency procedures.
Pregl Digital interface allows users to add or update GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) hazard statements and precautionary statements. By including this vital information, laboratories can comply with international standards for chemical classification and labeling, enhancing safety practices and promoting consistency in hazard communication.

Import Product
The Import Wizard is crafted to ensure a swift and error-free extraction of laboratory items from the public database. By following a straightforward step-by-step procedure, users can align the fields of their existing database with the corresponding fields in the Pregl Digital interface. This streamlines the process of importing data, thereby economizing time and minimizing the potential for data inconsistencies.
The Product Import Wizard guides users through a sequence of three uncomplicated stages:
STEP 1: SELECT STOCK OPTION
During the import process, users have the capability to separately import laboratory ware or chemicals into their local database. On the initial page, users must choose their preferred option to commence the process. Additionally, there's an available choice to download a chemicals template from the Data Import Wizard. This template guarantees appropriately formatted data, encompassing all essential information. The template can subsequently be uploaded on the ensuing page (Step 2).
STEP 2: CHECK DATA
On the subsequent page, users can upload documents and review or validate data to ensure its accuracy and completeness. It is crucial to note that the data must conform to the requisite structure to facilitate successful importation. Products can also be sourced from the public database by clicking the "Import from Public Database" button, initiating the process. Utilize the search function on this page to expediently locate specific items for effortless importation into the local database.
Furthermore, users must specify the location of items and establish an expiry date alarm or quantity alarm to proceed with the process. An alarm serves to alert assigned users about critical quantities or impending expiry dates within the lab inventory. An option also exists to forcibly update existing SKU data within the system. Should you wish to initiate this process, simply check the box within the corresponding input field.
STEP 3: IMPORT DATA
On the final page, users receive a comprehensive overview of all successfully imported products. Users are promptly informed of the quantity of new products now integrated into the system. If modifications to previously entered data are desired, users maintain the ability to backtrack and implement the desired changes.
