The storage section is an important tool for managing the inventory of laboratory storage units. Information is connected to all devices of the Pregl Digital Ecosystem in the physical laboratory and is promptly updated when changes occur. By presenting all saved storage locations within the system, users can swiftly and easily identify the physical location of each chemical or labware item, thereby ensuring that inventory records are precise and up-to-date.

In the search section users have the ability to search thru all storage locations accessible exclusively by storage name. 

Apart from searching through storage locations, the storage section also offers additional functionalities to enhance inventory management:

1. Edit Storage: Users have the ability to modify storage details. This feature allows them to make changes and updates to existing storage locations, ensuring that the information remains accurate and up-to-date. By accessing the "Edit Storage" option, users can adjust parameters such as Display name, Location ID and Laboratory/Venue. Users can also add description, if needed. 

2. Add Storage: Users can conveniently create new storage locations within the system. By utilizing the "Add Stock to Storage" feature, located on the bottom of the storage list, users can define and designate additional storage areas to accommodate changes in the laboratory's infrastructure or equipment. This functionality enables seamless expansion and adaptation of the inventory management system to align with the evolving needs of the laboratory.

3. Add Stock to Storage: In order to maintain precise inventory records and facilitate efficient item retrieval, users can assign specific items to their desired storage locations. Through the "Add Stock to Storage" option, users can select the appropriate storage area from a storage list and allocate the newly acquired chemicals or labware items accordingly. This ensures that items are stored in their designated places, preventing confusion or misplacement and establishing a clear link between inventory records and the physical storage arrangement.

By offering a comprehensive overview of all storage locations within the system and allowing users to search and filter through this information, the storage screen becomes a valuable tool for managing inventory in a laboratory setting. Through the utilization of these features, laboratories can enhance their inventory management processes and effectively optimize the utilization of storage resources.
