The Material Report Wizard is a powerful tool that enables users to set up customized alerts for specific events or changes in the system. These alerts serve to notify users about various important aspects, such as approaching expiration dates for chemicals or critical shortages of vital inventory items. With this wizard, users have the flexibility to tailor the parameters of these alerts according to their precise requirements, specifying the exact conditions that will trigger them.
Users can select files from four different levels:
- Users & Lab: involves specifying the users, who worked with specific product and lab, associated with that user.
- Basic: this level is ideal for tracking general inventory items and their associated information. It provides users with a straightforward way to monitor and manage essential materials within the system.
- Advanced: at the advanced level, users can delve deeper into their inventory management. This level offers enhanced features and capabilities, allowing for more comprehensive tracking and analysis of inventory data.
- Hazardous substances: this specialized level focuses specifically on the management of hazardous substances within the inventory.
This categorization allows for a more targeted approach when generating reports and setting up alerts. Whether users need to track basic inventory items, more complex parameters, or specific hazardous substances, the wizard caters to their needs by providing the appropriate level of granularity and customization options.
To edit a specific tab, simply toggle the button located on the right side of the tab you wish to modify.

After finalizing the file selection, you gain the ability to download the chosen file in the convenient .csv format. Moreover, you have the flexibility to either send the report via email or establish it as a periodic report that will automatically notify you at a designated time each week.
The option of setting up periodic reports allows users to remain up to date with the latest information on inventory status and other critical data aspects. This proactive approach empowers users to make well-informed decisions and proactively address any emerging problems or challenges, ensuring smoother operations and enhanced overall efficiency.
