On the labware details screen you can find all the data for this specific labware, the main labware data and the data that is linked to this physical labware.
On the top of the screen, you can manage the quantity of the labware in stock.
- + Add (You can add quantity)
- - Take (You can take quantity)
In both cases you need to confirm the input in the popup drawer window. Should you require further information regarding quantity management, please refer to "Quantity Modifications (Add/Take)" on the bottom of the page.
On the bottom section you will see the option to jump in the storage location you have this specific labware (this option is only visible for labware that have a selected storage location)
Moreover, the chemical details screen provides the following options:
- Duplicate labware (you can edit specific data and save it as a new labware).
- Edit the physical labware data.
- Lock labware (whether you want to store chemical for specific reason, you can lock it and others will be unable to add or take chemical away. Unlocking is available exclusively on Pregl Digital web interface).
- Archive labware (you can unarchive it only over the Pregl Digital web interface).
- Remove it from the storage it from the storage (one physical labware can only be assigned to one physical storage location, if you want to add it to another location you need to remove it first.
Material Modifications (Add/Take)
Subtractions and additions of quantities can be performed by interacting with two buttons located on the "Labware Details" page. The "Add" button functions to increase the quantity, while the "Take" button functions to decrease the quantity. In both instances, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to confirm the new quantity, whether it has been increased or decreased from the previous input.
If you enter a quantity that exceeds the amount of chemical in stock, a warning message will appear, reminding you that only a smaller amount or the exact quantity of labware that can be taken away from the general quantity of specific labware in the stock. This restriction prevents the user from making a mistake when entering the quantity and causing confusion in the database.
In a case, you decide to continue with the exact amount of labware in the storage, labware will be moved to archive with an automatically assigned archiving reason "used up."
