Manage existing or add new storage locations. Under the storage location section, you have the option to Add and Edit all locations in the system.

Add Storage Location Wizard

• Location ID: the location ID is a unique identifier and can be a random number or character set (this ID can also be used on the Pregl Digital Screen; it can be set in the template system under the Pregl Digital web interface). Attention: if you use the Pregl Digital Location Sticker, use the ID code of the Location Sticker that you can scan by clicking on the icon on the right in the input field.
• Display name: The location name will be used under the storage list and on the Pregl Digital Screen (can be set in the template system under the Pregl Digital web interface)
• Description: The description is for internal use and will not be shown on the storage location or Pregl Digital Screen.
• Lab: You need to select the right Laboratory/Venue in your system where this location will be.

Attention: if you will be also registering the Pregl Digital Screen, the Pregl Digital Router must also be registered at this location.

Save Location: with the “Save Location” button you will save the data and close the wizard.

Save Location & Add Device

With the “Save Location & Add Device” button you will save the data and jump to the “Add New Device” wizard. You will have two option to register the Pregl Digital Screen:

• QR Code: When your mobile device has no NFC option you can use the QR code option. When you select this option the button activities the devices camera or barcode scanner and you will need to scan the QR code on the Pregl Digital Screen device that is on the back side or on the front screen when it’s in the new or reset mode.
• NFC: When you select this option the NFC scan window of the device will be activated. You need to tap your mobile device in the front of the Pregl Digital Screen and the screen will be automatically be recognized.

If the device was successfully recognized the devices data will be shown on the screen, now you can confirm the connection to the Pregl Digital Screen device.

In the next step you need to select a template from the system. The standard templates are preloaded in the system, you can also choose your own (more about the templating system you can read in the Pregl Digital web interface).

Now you can finish the wizard with the “Save Device on Location” button.

Edit Storage Location

Under edit storage location you can search, select or filter all storage locations in the system. When you select the storage location, you can change all settings.

In addition, you can also delete separate the Pregl Digital Screen device or the complete location.

When a device is used in the Storage location you will see the Pregl Digital Screen IoT data card. When there is no device on the storage you will also have the option to add it and activate the “Add New Device” wizard.

When you want to delete the storage location and the storage location is used for one or more stock items you will get an error. You need first to delete all stock items before you can remove it from the system.
