The Archive List screen provides a comprehensive display of archived stock items, encompassing Chemicals and Labware, within the system. Here, users can view, scan, and search for items, though editing capabilities are intentionally restricted. To reverse this archival process and bring back an item, users with appropriate privileges must utilize the Pregl Digital web interface, accessible through the Pregl Digital Dashboard.
Products are archived in the stock section. On the "Chemical Detail" page, users will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Archive Chemical" button. Upon selecting the button, users are also required to provide a reason for archiving. Possible reasons for archiving include:
- Broken/Spilled - the chemical or labware is no longer useful due to being broken or spilled by a user.
- Expired - the chemical or labware has exceeded its expiry date and is no longer useful.
- Inadequate quality - there is an insufficient quantity of the chemical or labware in stock.
- Other reasons - users can provide additional reasons.
After providing a reason, the product will be moved to the 'Archive' section in Settings.
Products from the stock can also be automatically archived in the event when a user takes the maximum quantity of the chemical or labware from the stock. In this scenario, a product is transferred from the stock and storage to the archive, accompanied by an automatically assigned reason: "used-up."
